Verena Recla joined Barozzi Veiga in 2010. Over the years, she has been involved in international competitions and public projects, contributing from concept design through to construction, and she has played a pivotal role in some of the studio’s most significant works. Initially working as a Design Architect, she contributed to landmark projects such as the award-winning Philharmonic Hall in Szczecin and the Bündner Kunstmuseum. As a Project Architect, she was responsible for the design and construction supervision of the Tanzhaus in Zürich and the Dynafit Headquarters in Kiefersfelden. Currently, as a Project Director, Verena leads the development and construction of Oolite Arts in Miami, drawing on her extensive experience in project management. She also oversees internal studio operations, including human resources, coordination of competition and project proposals.

Marta Grzadziel is a senior architect with over 20 years of international experience. She began her career in Paris and Copenhagen, contributing to the development of several landmark cultural buildings. Since 2012, she has been a key member Barozzi Veiga in Barcelona, where she has significantly shaped some of the studio’s most prominent projects, including the Musée Cantonal des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne. Over the years, Marta has taken the lead on major projects such as the Szczecin Philharmonic Hall, the Artists'Ateliers in London, and the new building for the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park. Paola Calcavecchia is an Italian architect who joined Barozzi Veiga in 2013. Since then, she has contributed to a wide range of international competitions and editorial work, with a primary focus on the development of projects through all design and construction phases. From 2015 to 2020, she served as Project Leader for the Montelungo Colleoni project in Bergamo, overseeing its design and execution. More recently, she has taken part as a Senior Architect in the development of several major works, including the Dynafit Headquarters and the Kursaal-Casino in Knokke, Belgium.

Maria Ubach is a Spanish architect who joined Barozzi Veiga in 2013. She has since contributed to a variety of international competitions, public projects, and private commissions, with a strong focus on concept design and project development. Early in her career at the studio, she led the winning competition entries for the Tanzhaus in Zürich and the Housing Complex in Barcelona. As a Design Architect, she has played a key role in projects such as the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne, Oolite Arts in Miami, and the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology. Currently, Maria leads the development and construction of a private residential project in Los Angeles, drawing on her project management skills and dedication to teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Cecilia Rueda is a Spanish architect who joined Barozzi Veiga in 2013. She initially worked on a wide range of international competitions and projects, and also collaborated as an assistant professor at IUAV and MIT. She led the design and construction of the School of Music in Brunico, Italy, as well as the project for the Wine Museum of Guerrieri Rizzardi. In recent years, her work has focused on the design and construction of private villas, including the Solo House, a private villa on Lake Garda, a villa in central Beirut, a villa in Dubai, and two private apartments in Barcelona.


Diletta Trinari is an architect, book editor, and exhibition curator. Since 2018, she has collaborated with Barozzi Veiga, where she is responsible for communications strategy and curates the studio’s publications, exhibitions, lectures, and archive. She has contributed to major international showcases of the studio’s work, including the Venice Architecture Biennale (2021, 2023, 2025), the Seoul Biennale (2021), and the Centre Pompidou in Paris (2024). She has curated the traveling exhibition On Continuity since 2021, presented in Venice, Milan, and Budweis. She edited the monograph Barozzi Veiga (2022), published by Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther und Franz König, recipient of the DAM Architectural Book Award 2022. She also edited the books On Continuity (2022) and Abby Kortrijk (2025), published by Hannibal Books for the museum’s inauguration. In parallel, she actively contributes to the studio’s research and educational initiatives.

Xianjun Zhou joined Barozzi Veiga in 2020 and she is currently working on the transformation of the Kursaal-Casino in Knokke-Heist, in Belgium. She has contributed to various international competitions and commissions, including the Opera House in Shanghai, the Shenzhen Conservatory of Music, and Qujiang Civic Cultural Center in Xi’an. Her professional experience in China and Spain has given her a unique perspective on architecture, informed by the distinct cultural and spatial contexts of both regions. She has also participated in academic exchanges between China and Spain, further enriching her approach to design and collaboration.

Chen-hsin Chang joined Barozzi Veiga in 2021 and she is currently working on the Oolite Arts project in Miami. She has been involved in various design phases, contributing to projects such as the Abby Kortrijk, a private villa in Dubai, and several international competitions. Her professional journey spans from Taipei to Barcelona, where her diverse project experience has enriched her understanding of architecture within varied cultural and geographic contexts. For her, architecture is a way to read and respond to a place. Each project becomes an exploration of place, through environmental and cultural lenses, and an opportunity to express ideas at multiple spatial and graphic scales.

Martín joined Barozzi Veiga in 2021 and currently works on the transformation of the Kursaal-Casino Knokke-Heist, focusing on the new development and landscape design. He has contributed to numerous international competitions and projects, including the winning proposal for the Production Site for Exail in Brest. Alongside his work at the studio, Martín has a strong interest in academia and architectural research. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Architecture at ETSAB in Barcelona, where he has collaborated as a teaching assistant. Alicia Hernanz joined Barozzi Veiga in 2021 and currently leads design teams on a major transformation of the Art Institute of Chicago, including the new Grainger Science and Conservation Center, the galleries of the Applied Arts of Europe, and a new modern art museum building. She also leads the construction of the Jewish Museum of Brussels. Her work spans architecture, urban design, and infrastructure, with over ten years of international experience across the UK, France, the US, and Australia. Alicia completed her Master’s studies in Architecture at ETSAM, Madrid Polytechnic University, in 2013, and pursued further postgraduate studies in the Netherlands. She also undertook a research residency at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. Since then, she has contributed to a wide range of international competitions and public projects, from concept design through to construction. In addition to her design leadership, Alicia brings expertise in project management, with a strong commitment to collaboration and team values.

Claudio Triassi joined Barozzi Veiga in 2022 and currently leads design teams on international competitions. He has led the winning proposals for the Kursaal Casino Knokke-Heist, the Göteborgs Konstmuseum, and the Max Mara Fashion Group HQ. Claudio completed his studies in Architecture at Università IUAV di Venezia in 2016. During his academic years, he also studied at UPC-ETSAB in Barcelona, USP-FAU in São Paulo, and Chiba University in the greater Tokyo area. Francesco Crocchini joined Barozzi Veiga in 2024 and is currently involved in international projects and competitions. He has contributed to the competition-winning design for the Max Mara Headquarters and the development of a private commission in Los Angeles. Eduard Resina joined Barozzi Veiga in 2024 and is currently involved in the development of the new building for the PRBB in Barcelona.
